Carbon X Dual Overdrive

$599.00

The Carbon X was born from a simple question posed by David Ryan Harris - "Can this be done?"

The answer (“probably?”) led to a journey of innovation and experimentation that resulted in the Carbon X.

Imagine the fusion of two blue sides, the classic Carbon sound elevated to new heights. Inspired by DRH's request, we didn't stop at stacking two Carbons – we endeavored to make it even better. Stripping the right side of some of its sheen and headroom, we unleashed its grittier, raw essence and added a touch of sag, letting it unleash its barbaric yawp into the world of tonal richness.

But that's not all. To perfect the art of stacking and gaining it up, we introduced a high cut to the left side, taming the top end with surgical precision. The result is a pedal that not only embraces the bluesbreaker spirit but enhances it, giving you unparalleled control over your sound.

We have sent several prototypes to DRH, editing and finalizing and the response is nothing short of love!

Now, it's your turn to experience the sonic revolution. We hope you fall in love with the Carbon X just as much as we have. It's time to go play some guitar and let the Carbon X unlock a world of expressive possibilities for your music. Elevate your sound, embrace the grit, and let the Carbon X be your partner in musical exploration.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Can I change the start up state of my switches

YES - ADJUSTABLE INITIAL START-UP STATE - EACH SWITCH CAN BE ADJUSTED TO BE “ON” AT START-UP OR “OFF” AT START-UP BY HOLDING DOWN THE SWITCH FOR 10 SECONDS WHILE PLUGGING THE PEDAL INTO POWER.

Why is the right side output lower than the left side?

The Carbon X was designed to work as a stackable pedal. The reason for the lower output is simply because the left side of the pedal has all of the output needed, and the right side is designed to stack into it without blowing up an amp. This isn't your typical 2 pedals in one enclosure type situation, it was purposefully designed that way.
